About Us
RS Data Analytics & Support Services was built for rural healthcare.
We understand that rural hospitals and clinics operate in a different environment. The reimbursement rules may be just as complicated as they are for large health systems, but the resources are not always the same. Rural healthcare organizations often rely on smaller teams, employees who wear multiple hats, limited access to specialized expertise, and leaders who must balance financial performance with the responsibility of maintaining essential healthcare services in their communities.
That is where RS Data comes in.
Founded by Rachel Savary, RS Data provides practical revenue cycle consulting, education, and support designed around the realities of rural healthcare. Rachel brings nearly two decades of healthcare revenue cycle experience, including years spent working directly within rural healthcare organizations. Her background includes medical billing, revenue cycle management, denials and appeals, payer escalation, patient access, reimbursement, financial performance, staff development, and revenue cycle education.
Because that experience comes from actually doing the work, RS Data approaches consulting differently. Recommendations have to work in the real world—with the staff, systems, resources, and payer challenges a rural organization actually has.
Chris Savary adds an important coding and documentation perspective to that work. As a certified professional coder with experience in healthcare coding, documentation, reimbursement, and revenue integrity, Chris helps connect the clinical documentation and coding side of healthcare with the financial side of the revenue cycle.
Together, Rachel and Chris understand that revenue cycle problems rarely belong to just one department. A denial that appears in the business office may have originated during scheduling, registration, authorization, documentation, coding, charge capture, claim submission, or payer processing. Solving the problem means looking beyond the individual claim and understanding the entire process that produced it.
Rural Healthcare Deserves Specialized Support
Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, and other rural healthcare organizations face financial pressures that can make even small revenue cycle problems significant.
A process that quietly loses a few thousand dollars each month may be inconvenient for a large health system. For a rural organization, those dollars can matter considerably more. They support employees, equipment, services, technology, and ultimately the organization's ability to continue providing care close to home.
That is why RS Data believes rural healthcare revenue should be protected aggressively and responsibly.
Our work is not centered around walking into an organization, producing a report, and leaving behind a list of problems. We work alongside healthcare teams to understand what is happening, determine why it is happening, identify opportunities for improvement, and give employees the knowledge and tools to strengthen the process going forward.
Building Stronger Rural Healthcare Teams
One of the most important principles behind RS Data is that consulting should build independence—not dependence.
Rural healthcare organizations already have talented people doing difficult work. Sometimes those teams simply need additional expertise, education, data, or outside support to help them solve problems they have not had the time or resources to fully investigate.
Whether we are analyzing denials, challenging payer behavior, evaluating revenue cycle performance, strengthening registration processes, educating staff, improving workflows, or assisting with a specialized project, education remains part of the process.
We do not want teams to simply know what to do.
We want them to understand why they are doing it.
Because when employees understand how their work affects reimbursement, compliance, patients, and the financial health of their organization, they become stronger decision-makers and stronger revenue cycle professionals.
Why This Work Matters
For us, rural healthcare is not simply a market.
Rural hospitals and clinics are part of the infrastructure of the communities they serve. They provide emergency care, primary care, specialty services, diagnostics, rehabilitation, and countless other services that allow patients to receive care without traveling hours away from home.
Keeping those organizations financially strong matters.
RS Data exists to help rural healthcare organizations protect the revenue they have earned, strengthen the people behind their revenue cycle, and build processes that can withstand an increasingly complicated healthcare reimbursement environment.
Fight for every dollar. Strengthen every process. Educate every team. Protect rural healthcare.
Revenue Cycle Consulting & Support
RS Data Analytics & Support Services provides practical, hands-on revenue cycle consulting designed to help healthcare organizations strengthen financial performance, improve workflows, reduce preventable denials, and identify opportunities for improvement across the revenue cycle. Support can include comprehensive revenue cycle assessments, workflow and process reviews, denial and accounts receivable analysis, payer issue resolution, staffing evaluations, chargemaster support, registration and billing improvement, and targeted assistance with operational challenges. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, consulting services are tailored to the organization’s structure, resources, payer mix, and specific needs.
Custom Projects & Advisory Services
Not every revenue cycle challenge fits neatly into a predefined consulting package. Custom Projects & Advisory Services provide organizations with access to experienced revenue cycle expertise for specialized initiatives, complex payer issues, process development, research, implementation support, and other unique operational needs. Projects can range from investigating a recurring reimbursement problem or developing a new workflow to assisting with payer escalations, regulatory changes, departmental restructuring, special analyses, or organization-wide revenue cycle initiatives. The scope is developed around the problem that needs to be solved and the outcome the organization is working to achieve.
Rural Healthcare Revenue Cycle Support
Rural healthcare organizations operate in a revenue cycle environment that is fundamentally different from that of large health systems. RS Data Analytics & Support Services provides specialized support for Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, and other rural healthcare organizations that must manage complex reimbursement requirements with smaller teams and limited resources. Services are designed with the realities of rural healthcare in mind, including employees who wear multiple hats, limited access to specialized revenue cycle expertise, unique billing and reimbursement requirements, payer challenges, staffing constraints, and the financial importance of capturing every appropriate dollar. The goal is not simply to identify problems, but to help rural organizations build stronger processes, develop knowledgeable teams, and become more confident and independent in managing their revenue cycle.
Revenue Cycle Education & Training
RS Data Analytics & Support Services provides practical revenue cycle education designed to help healthcare employees understand not only what they are expected to do, but why their work matters. Training is available for Registration and Patient Access, billing, denials and appeals, payer requirements, Medicare and Medicaid, commercial insurance, patient financial processes, compliance fundamentals, and other areas throughout the revenue cycle. Education can be customized for new employees, experienced staff, departmental teams, managers, or organization-wide initiatives and can be delivered through structured courses, live instruction, focused training sessions, and customized educational programs. The emphasis is on translating complicated regulations and payer requirements into information employees can understand and apply in their daily work.
Leadership & Revenue Cycle Education
Revenue cycle performance is not solely a billing department responsibility. Leadership education is designed for managers, directors, CFOs, CEOs, and other healthcare leaders who need to understand how operational decisions affect reimbursement, cash flow, denials, patient experience, and the financial health of the organization. Sessions translate complex revenue cycle concepts into meaningful operational and financial information, helping leaders better understand performance indicators, recognize areas of risk, ask stronger questions, and make informed decisions. Education can also help bridge the gap between frontline revenue cycle operations and organizational leadership by showing how decisions made throughout the organization ultimately affect financial performance.
Speaking Engagements & Conference Presentations
RS Data Analytics & Support Services is available for healthcare conferences, association meetings, rural health events, revenue cycle conferences, hospital meetings, professional development programs, and other industry events. Presentations are grounded in real-world revenue cycle experience and focus on practical challenges facing healthcare organizations today, including payer behavior, denials and appeals, registration, reimbursement, financial performance, employee development, and the unique realities of rural healthcare. Presentations can be selected from existing areas of expertise or customized around the audience, event theme, or educational goals of the organization.
Keynote & General Session Presentations
Keynote and general session presentations are designed for broader healthcare audiences and combine practical revenue cycle experience with larger conversations about organizational performance, accountability, workforce development, and the financial sustainability of healthcare. Topics can explore protecting healthcare revenue, building stronger and more knowledgeable teams, adapting to increasing payer complexity, creating accountability throughout the revenue cycle, and helping employees understand the financial impact of the work they perform every day. Presentations can be customized to align with the theme, audience, and objectives of the event while remaining relevant and applicable to the realities healthcare professionals face.
Breakout Sessions
Breakout sessions provide focused education on specific revenue cycle topics and are ideal for conferences, association meetings, professional development events, and departmental education programs. Sessions can address topics such as denials and appeals, registration accuracy, payer identification, Medicare and Medicaid, commercial insurance, prior authorization, patient financial responsibility, reimbursement challenges, payer escalation, and rural revenue cycle operations. Content is designed to move beyond high-level theory and provide participants with information, examples, and strategies they can take back to their organizations and apply in their own work.
Interactive Workshops
Interactive workshops provide a deeper learning experience for organizations and events seeking more than a traditional presentation. These longer-format sessions allow participants to work through realistic revenue cycle scenarios, claims, denials, payer requirements, registration situations, workflow challenges, or other operational issues while learning how to evaluate the problem and determine an appropriate response. Workshops can be customized around the experience level and responsibilities of the participants and are particularly effective for developing critical thinking, strengthening problem-solving skills, and helping teams understand how revenue cycle concepts apply in real-world situations.
Virtual Speaking Engagements & Webinars
Live virtual presentations and webinars provide organizations, associations, and professional groups with flexible access to revenue cycle education regardless of location. Sessions can be delivered as conference presentations, association webinars, departmental education, leadership sessions, or customized professional development programs. Virtual programs can address the same range of revenue cycle, reimbursement, payer, registration, denial, leadership, and rural healthcare topics available through in-person engagements and can be tailored to the audience, available timeframe, and educational objectives of the sponsoring organization.
