“Rachel Savary has created numerous reports for the Revenue Cycle that have greatly impacted our productivity and efficiency. In Patient Access in particular, she has created a Scheduling Error report, PAS QUIC Bucket report, Preventative Visit Error report and a Preventative Service Table, Quality Audits for both Scheduling and Registration, a Point of Service Collections Report and a report to help catch multiple insurances on a VA visit. All of these reports and audits have greatly helped my daily workflow in managing my team so I can see what we are doing well and what our opportunities are. These reports and audits help us catch errors before the patient arrives or before the bill goes out the door, thus increasing patient satisfaction. Rachel is great at learning, using and implementing Revenue Cycle systems and interfaces. She can find ways to utilize each system to its full potential in order to streamline workflows and increase productivity.”
From the day I started working with Rachel she pushed me to learn more and become more educated on all areas revenue cycle related. She is patient and gives explanation to processes that provides and understanding needed in this business. She is supportive and will try to come up with multiple solutions to fit your needs. I didn’t realize she was growing me as a leader until the time for a promotion came and I felt equipped to take on the roll because of her mentorship.
Over the last few years, I've had the pleasure of working directly with Rachel on a number of projects in her role as Revenue Cycle Director. Throughout her time with our organization, she has demonstrated critical skills and knowledge that would make her an excellent asset to your company.
Rachel has been able to leverage her extensive knowledge on Medical Billing and Microsoft Excel to create some amazing tools for not only her department but other departments in the facility. These tools have been instrumental in assisting with decision making on the day-to-day operations. It really has given us leaders the power of data that we might not have been privy to prior to its creation.
Rachel has excellent written and verbal communication skills, she is extremely organized, able to work independently, and is able to effectively multi-task many projects. If her performance with our organization is an indication on how she will work for you, I truly believe that Rachel would be an asset and would wholeheartedly recommend her.
I am honored to write a reference letter for Rachel Savary. She has been instrumental in the success we have seen over the past five years. She is one of a kind due to her tremendous amount of talent, work ethic and grace.
I worked closely with Rachel for five years. Rachel has exceled in her role, exhibiting one of the highest levels of productivity I have seen in my career. Rachel produces a high volume of work while consistently maintaining high standards for quality and accuracy.
Rachel has tremendous Excel stills which allows her to automate workflows and create a great deal of efficiencies. This automation has led to job satisfaction of staff, decreased turnover and reduced FTEs through attrition. One example of her tremendous skills related to the No Surprise Billing Act, Rachel created Excel templates for the scheduling and nursing teams to provide a tool that allows price estimation for self-pay patients. This is currently being expanded upon so we can provide all patients with estimations. It is simple to use and provides so much value.
Her comprehensive knowledge relating to the revenue cycle always leaves me amazed. She is a wealth of knowledge. Rachel isn’t afraid to tell you she needs to research a topic further. This humble attitude has created an immense amount of respect for Rachel. Rachel started her career at our facility after a failed system conversion. The revenue cycle was in complete disarray and had to be rebuilt. Rachel worked with doctors, executives, leaders and staff to implement workflows that continues to set new revenue cycle records. Below is some trending of the stats that Rachel and her team achieved.

Another example of Rachel’s ability to knock down barriers relates to Allscript’s PFM platform. This software is antiquated, leaving very few experts. The system was creating a great deal of manual work and errors for the billing team. Rachel ran into roadblocks with Allscripts because most of the talent who knew the software had moved on from the company. Rachel didn’t allow this barrier to stop her, she learned the system and started to do her own configuration and reporting building.
I could honestly write about Rachel’s accomplishments and talent all day. She has been so instrumental to our success over the past five years. Rachel even developed her own succession plan by mentoring several leaders and an analyst. Her talent is very rare and even a small project could have a profound impact on a revenue cycle team.
